Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 slice bread. crumbled; remove crusts
- 1/3 cup milk, or 1/2 milk & cream
1. Mix above ingredients; shape into uniform size balls.
2. Brown in bacon fat or cooking oil; place in shallow baking pan.
Cover with following sauce:
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire
1. Mix above together; pour over meatballs.
2. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 1 hr.
Serve with mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
